The Call of God

30 Jun

“Always remember that God does not change His mind about the calling He has given you.”
By Dr. Jonathan Doctor

Before we were born God had a plan for our life. According to the Word of God in Acts 17:26 He planned what we were called to do, the time, the place and boundaries where we are to do it. Our God, in His awesome Wisdom chose us to live in this day, He did not choose St. Paul not St. Peter but you and I to be the last generation before the Coming of the Lord, He has Graced us to bring in the Harvest.

To me that is an awesome thought, and it is a sobering responsibility, but at the same time it is a relief to know that we do not have to trust in our own human, natural strength to do it but by His Grace. God’s Grace, His abilities and gifts will empower us as we go and step out into that Calling that He has Graced and anointed us to do.

God ‘s Calling on our life will never be taken away, God does not change His mind (Romans 11:29Amp), what He spoke will come to pass, He declared the end from the beginning. He declared that we would be His Glorious Church to show this world the Love of God. Jesus has declared that He is building His Church and the gates of hell shall not declare against His church.

This is good news to know, that as adversity and adversaries show up on our way to the destination God has for us that the adversities or mountains ahead are temporal, they are temporary, they are changeable and movable. With this attitude and spirit of faith we know that we are overcomers because God does not change His Word, Name or Mind about us or our calling.

This is Good news to those who might have had or are having  small beginnings, knowing that adversity and circumstances cannot change God’s mind, knowing this creates a NO QUIT attitude. God’s plans Will come to pass.

God had orchestrated our lives, He has ordained our steps and works according to Ephesians 2:10 and Psalms 37:23. Just like Jesus knew where He came from and where He was going (John 8:14), we too can and should know where we are going. By knowing where we came from, we can look back and see God ordaining our steps in life, getting us to this day and the days ahead.

Once someone has spent quality time with God, intimate time in prayer, praying in the Spirit and continues to read His Word and  listen to the Voice of the Lord. They can develop this knowing in their heart to the Call of God and to where they are going. Jesus said that His sheep hear His voice and His sheep follow Him, so as someone hears the Lord they must do what He says. We as sheep do not want to get out from under our Shepherd’s Care.

This excites me about the days ahead, because in knowing God’s call on my life and knowing in what direction He is leading me, I have assurance that my Shepherd will not lead me astray as I obey His voice.

We must stay faithful to the Call of God in the small beginnings and in the adversities in our lives, as we do the Lord will increase us and we will be given more, because we have proven our faithfulness in the small.

Dr. Jerry Savelle says “Faithfulness is the #1 quality that God looks for in those He calls.” God is looking for some people who are willing to fulfill His plan and Call on their lives.

In Christ Dominion is restored

Scriptures references

Gen 1:26-31 NKJV 26Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Psalms 8:4-8 NKJV 4 What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? 5 For You have made him a little lower than God,#  And You have crowned him with glory and honor. 6 You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, #

Gen. 2:15-17 NKJV 15Then the LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it. 16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; 17 “but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

Eph. 4:18 NKJV 18 having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart;

Eph. 2:1-13 KJV 1And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.  4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.  11Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh—who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands— 12 that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

Rom. 5:12-19 KJV 12Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned— 13 (For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come. 15 But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. 16 And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification. 17 For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)
18 Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. 19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.

2 Cor. 5:17-21 KJV 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.  20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Rom. 3:23-26 KJV  23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

Heb 1:1-4 KJV 1God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, 2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; 3 who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged oursins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, 4 having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

Heb.10:1-4,17-18 KJV  1For the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect. 2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? For the worshipers, once purified, would have had no more consciousness of sins. 3 But in those sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year. 4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins………..   17 then He adds, “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”18 Now where there is remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin.

Heb. 9:11-17 KJV 11But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. 12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. 13 For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, 14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? 15 And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
16For where there is a testament, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. 17 For a testament is in force after men are dead, since it has no power at all while the testator lives.

1 John 3:5 KJV 5 And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.

1Jo 5:4  For whatsoever is born of  God  overcometh  the  world:  and  this  is  the  victory  that overcometh  the  world, even our  faith.
1Jo 5:5  Who  is he that overcometh  the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son  of God?

Strong‘s Definitions:  overcometh= to subdue (literally or figuratively): – conquer, overcome, prevail, get the victory.

In Christ Dominion is restored

God’s Call and Prevailing Purpose

God’s Call and Prevailing Purpose
By  Jonathan Doctor, Ph.D.

 http://www.fofmc.net

Proverbs 19:21 says that many are a man’s plans, but the Lord’s Purpose will Prevail.

1 John 5:4 says that whatever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world; our faith.

Romans 11:29 says that the gifts and callings of God are without changing…

Always remember that God does not change His mind about the calling He has given you

Dr. Jerry Savelle says “Faithfulness is the #1 quality that God looks for in those He calls.”

God is looking for some people who are willing to fulfill His prevailing purpose and Call on their lives.

I think we ought to Praise and Thank God for calling us, for giving us His Purpose. Knowing that His Purpose will prevail, we can be safe as we abide in the calling and purpose that He has chosen for us. Lets have confidence that God is working things out according to His good Purpose (Eph. 1:11, Rom. 8:28, Jer. 29:11, Eph. 2:10)

As we continue to run the race that God has set before us we can be sure that we have Prevailing Purpose!

Forgiveness: The Master Key

Forgiveness: The Master Key
by: Jonathan Doctor, Ph.D.
http://www.fofmc.net

The fall of Adam into sin led the human race into the universal experience of sin, sickness and death. The psalmist lists God’s blessings for His people: forgiveness of our sins, healing for our diseases, and the gifts of redemption and eternal life. Forgiveness is the first and most important gift we can receive from God. Through it we are restored to God and redeemed from destruction. To receive forgiveness from God we need to make sure that we forgive those who we feel offended us.

When you forgive, forgive and forget. (Psalm 103:11-12)

“For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him, as for as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.”

1. People who say that they’ve forgiven someone in the past, but keep reminding them of what happened are not practicing forgiveness, they are practicing witchcraft.

2. Don’t keep a record of other people’s offenses it only reminds you of the offense.
3. If you don’t forgive, you will never receive forgiveness. (Matt. 18:35; Mark 11:26)
4. God forgets ours sin for His sake. (Isa. 43:25)

Forgiveness demands a change. (John 8:3-5)
Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst, they said to Him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses, in the law commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do you say?”
5. The Pharisees were representative of the Law, but Jesus represented God’s grace.
6. Go and sin no more. (John 8:11)

What does that mean?
Jesus expected her to change her conduct.
7. Forgiveness is full of compassion, but it demands a change in conduct.
8. To forgive without demanding change is to make the grace of God an accomplice to evil.
9. Grace is not a license to sin; it gives you the opportunity to confess your sin before the judgment of God comes to you.

Forgiveness is not earned. (Colossian 1:13-14)
He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

10. Many people find it difficult to forgive themselves.
11. Some feel that it is impossible for God to forgive them.
12. Forgiveness is not earned, it is accepted.
13. You are cleansed from sin through the atoning sacrifice of the redemptive Lamb of God.
14. One simple prayer can make you as white as snow.
15. By grace you have been saved. Accept His gift and rejoice.
How do I forgive someone who has hurt me? (Proverbs 19:11)
The discretion of a man makes him slow to anger, and his glory is to overlook a transgression.
16. Forgive immediately, don’t wait.
17. Get things right with your brother before you come to the altar. (Matt. 5:23)
18. Take the initiative and go to the person and make the matter right.
19. Forgive yourself, which is often the difficult thing.
20. Forgive as often as needed. (Matt. 18:21)

Many of the issues and problems we see and deal with in life is because of past hurts and wounds that have not been healed. If you are severely wounded, it would do you no good to put a band aid on it. You must heal the wound completely so that if anyone touches that spot again that it will not be sensitive and cause the wound to be re hurt. A scar is a sign of a healed wound.

Many Christians are walking around with Band Aides on their Wounded souls. Yes they are Saved, forgiven and going to heaven. Yes they are New Creations with New Spirits and New Hearts. But their soul, their mind, will and emotions still need to be renewed. Many who were wounded when they were children, from abusive fathers, mothers or rejected by those they loved are walking aroundas adults who still need healing.

Forgiveness is the Master Key to Healing and Freedom from the baggage of the past. Forgiveness will heal your wounded soul. Forgiveness is the Master Key to unlock the Blessings of Divine Destiny. You cannot move forward unless you confront your past. Forgiveness is acknowledging the offense and hurt and confronting it and forgiving it, and not allowing it to stop God’s Great Future For us.

If you were hurt by your father or mother, if you were abused or rejected by those you loved when you were a child, if those hurts are affecting your present relationships with others, than you need to forgive the offense that was done against you from your childhood. Break free today and from your heart – Truly Forgive and ask the Lord to heal those hurts and be filled with the Holy Spirit where once you carried the spirit of fear, and rejection. Close the door of every demon by forgiving.

The Main reasons why prayers are unanswered by christians, the main reasons why sicknesses are un healed is because of this Master Key. Their past is affecting their present and it will affect their future unless they deal with it.

THE GREAT GRACE EXCHANGE

By Dr. Jonathan Doctor

Introduction: At the cross a divine exchange took place; when Jesus hung on the cross at calvary He endured all the evil due us, and in exchange made available all the good due Him. We owed a debt that we could not pay; He payed a debt He did not owe; While we deserve punishment, sickness and disease, poverty, death, shame and rejection and every other curse. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ took our place, and set us free. He was our substitute, because of Jesus we have offered to us abundant life,  which includes forgiveness, righteousness,  healing and divine health, acceptance, prosperity, riches and abundance.   This exchange could not be done by our own merits but only by GOD’S GRACE through Jesus Christ

GRACE= God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense. Every need that there could ever be was met by God at the cross where Christ hung. As we look to what He did for us and put our faith in the done work, we will see our needs met. Praise God! IT IS FINISHED!!!!!

This is truly THE GREAT GRACE EXCHANGE!!!!

HE REMOVED OUR SINS

JESUS BECAME SIN SO WE COULD BECOME RIGHTEOUS:

WE ARE RIGHTEOUS!

2Co 5:21  Forhe hath made  him to be sin  for  us,  who knew  no  sin;  that  we  might be made  the righteousness  of God  in  him.

Rom 3:22  Even  the righteousness  of God  which is by  faith  of Jesus  Christ  unto  all  and  upon  all  them that believe:  for  there is  no  difference:

Rom 3:24  Being justified  freely  by his GRACE  through  the  redemption  that is in  Christ  Jesus:

Rom 3:25  Whom  God  hath set forth  to be a propitiation  through  faith  in  his blood, to declare  his  righteousness  for  the  remission  of sins that are past,  through  the  forbearanceof God;

Rom 3:26  To  declare,  I say, at  this  time  his  righteousness:  that he  might be  just,  andthe justifier  of him which believeth  in Jesus                            JUST-AS-IF-I’D-NEVER-SINNED

STRONG’S DEFINITION: JUSTIFIED= just or innocent: justify (-ier), be righteous.

1Jo 3:5  And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

Heb 1:3 …… he (Jesus) had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Mat 26:28  for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many unto remission of sins

Joh 1:29 ……Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

AS SURELY AS JESUS REMOVED OUR SIN HE REMOVED OUR SICKNESS:

HE BECAME SICK WITH OUR SICKNESS THAT WE BE HEALED AND HAVE DIVINE HEALTH.

Mat 8:17  That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare [our] sicknesses. (SICKNESSES=a malady (disability): – disease, infirmity, sickness.)

Isa 53:4  Surelyhe  hath borne  our griefs,  and carriedour sorrows…..

Isa 53:5  But he  was wounded  for our transgressions,he was bruisedfor our iniquities:  the chastisement  of our peace  was upon  him; and with his stripeswe are healed

STRONG’S DEFINITIONS: borne=(nasa in hebrew)=to lift, accept,  bear (-er, up), carry (away),  lift up, take (away, up), that’s why our “Nasa” in Houston was named, to lift off, take off (like a rocket blasting away to a distance)

griefs=anxiety, calamity: – disease, grief, (is) sick (-ness).

chastisement= reproof, warning  also restraint:  chastening  chastisement, correction, discipline,  rebuke.

peace=shalom=safe, that is,well, happy, friendly; also welfare, that is, health, prosperity, peace: favour,  greet, (good) health, (perfect, such as be at) peace, prosper, rest, safe, welfare, well, whole, completeness.

Isa 53:6.………and the LORD  hath laid  on him the iniquity  of us all.

iniquity= perversity, that is, evil: – fault, iniquity, mischief, punishment (of iniquity), sin.

IT PLEASED THE LORD TO DO THIS.

Isa 53:10  Yet it pleased  the LORD  to bruise  him; he hath put him to grief:when  thou shalt make  his soul  an offering for sin….

Isa 53:11  He shall see  of the travail  of his soul,  and shall be satisfied:  by his knowledge  shall my righteous  servant  justify  many;  for he  shall bear  their iniquities.

Isa 53:12 ……… he hath poured out  his soul  unto death:  and he  was numbered  with  the transgressors;  and he bore  the sinof many…

Point: IT  SATISFIED GOD  TO PUT ALL THE EVIL  PUNISHMENT  DUE US FOR BEING COVENANT BREAKERS, SINNERS, AND REBELLS, UPON JESUS AT THE CROSS. ALL THE SIN, SICKNESS AND DISEASE, ALL THE SHAME AND REJECTION, ALL THE POVERTY AND LACK  WAS LAID ON HIM, HE TOOK OUR PLACE,  HE WAS OUR SUBSTITUTE. HE PAID THE PRICE SO WE DO  NOT HAVE TO, GOD IS SATISFIED  INSTEAD WE HAVE THE PEACE, THE  SHALOM OF GOD, THIS IS THE GRACE  EXCHANGE!

JESUS BECAME POOR THAT WE BE MADE RICH.

2Co 8:9  For  ye know  the  GRACE  of our  Lord  Jesus  Christ,  that,  though he was  rich,  yet for your sakes  he became poor,  that  ye  through his  poverty  might be rich.       See also Romans 10:12

STRONG’S DEFINITION: RICH= to be (or become) wealthy– be increased with goods, (be made, wax) rich, abundantly supplied for.

WEALTH IS INCLUDED IN OUR COVENANT.

Deu 8:18  But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for [it is] he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as [it is] this day.

THE LORD TAKES PLEASURE IN OUR PROSPERITY

Psa 35:27 ….. let them say  continually,  Let the LORD  be magnified,  which hath pleasure  in the prosperity  of his servant.                         THE BLESSING OF THE LORD MAKES US RICH

Pro 10:22  The blessing  of the LORD,  it  maketh rich,  and he addeth  no  sorrow  with  it.

GOD’S GRACE CAUSES ABUNDANCE TO COME TO US FOR ALL GOOD WORKS

2Co 9:8  And  God  is able  to make ALL GRACE  abound  toward  you;  that  ye, always  having  all  sufficiency  in  all  things, may abound  to  every  good  work:

2Co 9:11  Being enriched  in  every thing  to  all  bountifulness,  which  causeth  through  us  thanksgiving  to God.                              OUR RIGHEOUS-STANDING  CAUSES US TO BECOME RICH

Pro 15:6  In the house  of the righteous  is much  treasure:….

Psa 112:3 Wealth  and riches  shall be in his house:  and his righteousness  endureth  forever

THE WEALTH OF THE SINNER COMES TO US, AND HE  WORKS HARD TO GATHER  IT IN JUST TO GIVE IT TO  US.

Pro 13:22  …… the wealth  of the sinner  is laid up  for the just.

Ecc 2:26  ….. to the sinnerGod  giveth the  travail,  to gather  and to heap up,  that he may give  to him that is good  before God

JESUS BECAME A CURSE  SO WE COULD HAVE AND BE A BLESSING.

EVERY CURSE OF THE LAW WAS PUT ON JESUS AT THE CROSS: NOW WE HAVE THE BLESSING!

Gal 3:13MSG  Christ redeemed us from that self-defeating, cursed life by absorbing it completely into himself. Do you remember the Scripture that says, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”? That is what happened when Jesus was nailed to the Cross: He became a curse, and at the same time dissolved the curse.                      —————————————————————————————

Gal 3:13  Christ  hath redeemed  us  from  the  curse  of the  law,  being made  a curse  for  us:  for  it is written,  Cursed  is every one  that hangeth on  a tree:

Gal 3:14 That the  blessing  of Abraham  might come  on  the  Gentiles  through  JesusChrist…

THE BLESSING OF ABRAHAM

Gen 12:2-3.… I will bless  thee, and make thy name great;  and thou shalt be  a blessing:

Gen 12:3  And I will bless  them that bless  thee, and curse  him that curseththee: and in thee shall all  families  of the earth  be blessed.

Gen 13:2  And Abram  was very  rich  in cattle,  in silver,  and in gold.

Gal 3:9  So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

Gal 3:9 BBE  So then those who are of faith have a part in the blessing of Abraham who was full of faith.

ALL THAT GOD PROMISED ABRAHAM, HE PROMISED ALL THOSE WHO BELONG TO CHRIST

Gal 3:29MSG  Also, since you are Christ’s family, then you are Abraham’s famous “descendant,” heirs according to the covenant promises.

Gal 3:29  And if ye [be] Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

STRONG’S DEFINITION: THE PROMISE=an announcement (for information,   pledge; especially a divine assurance of good): – message, promise.

Deut.28:1-13=the blessing of the law:     (every blessing is our’s In Christ)

Deut.28:15-68=the curse of the law:        (Christ redeemed us from every curse listed in the curse of the law!)                                                Praise the lord!   Thank you Jesus!

OTHER NOTES AND SCRIPTURE

TITUS 3:5-6  5 He saved us, not because of the good things we did, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins and gave us a new life through the Holy Spirit. 6 He generously poured out the Spirit upon us because of what Jesus Christ our Savior did. 7 He declared us not guilty because of his great kindness

MSG

Eph 1:7  Because of the sacrifice of the Messiah, his blood poured out on the altar of the Cross, we’re a free people–free of penalties and punishments chalked up by all our misdeeds. And not just barely free, either. Abundantly free!
